Employee Issues

WHEN DO I GET PAID? Outstaffing operates a bi-weekly payroll cycle two weeks in arrears, therefore payday is every other Friday.

WHEN CAN I GET HEALTH INSURANCE? If you work full time (25+ hrs/wk) you can apply 30 days after your start date, or, during open enrollment in September. In both cases you have only 30 days to submit the completed paperwork to Outstaffing.

WHEN CAN I GET THE 401(k) RETIREMENT PLAN? You can start participating in the 401(k) Plan as soon as you start as an Outstaffing employee. You don't have to wait and you control your Oppenheimer investment selection. Outstaffing supports roll-overs and we encourage all employees to participate including part time employees.

WHO PAYS FOR THE BENEFITS? The employee pays for the benefits they select, that includes the medical, dental, life and 401(k) programs.

DOES OUTSTAFFING OFFER COBRA? Yes. Outstaffing is fully complient with COBRA law and if a qualifying event occurs you may be eligible for 18-months continued health coverage under COBRA law.

WHO ANSWERS MY EMPLOYMENT QUESTIONS? Outstaffing answers any questions you may have about payroll and benefits, NOT THE CLIENT. Most questions and requests to change payroll and/or benefits can be handled under the "Employee" section of this website.
