Who are you really hiring?

Employment screening (W2 & 1099) has become an integral part of the hiring process.

BACKGROUND CHECKS: 
Outstaffing has partnered with PeopleFacts to provide assistance in securing comprehensive screening to enable you to hire and work with safe and qualified individuals.  Just call us to discuss which background screenings may be of most interest to you.  We handle the processing for a flat $10 fee per employee screened.

NEW HIRES:  Background Checks for new hires are requested on the New Hire Onboarding Form.  An electronic release authorized by the new hire will be required before the process can be started.  Once processed the report will be emailed to you.  Please be aware manual record checks will take longer and will be sent separately.

EXISTING EMPLOYEES:  Should your business require periodic background checks to be performed, please complete the Employer General Directive form, with the name(s), package selection and any ala carte selections you want.

The following reports are available (should you require additional screening not listed below, please give us a call):

• SSN Address & Person Search - This search may provide the following information:
  • Name and name variations used by the individual, such as maiden, divorced or previous names
  • Current and former address(es) with counties associated with that SSN
  • Date of birth (may be limited to month and/or year of birth)
  • Date and State of issuance and validity of SSN
• County Criminal Record Search - This search may provide felony and/or misdemeanor convictions and/or charges located at the county level. Each jurisdiction is different and some report felony and/or misdemeanor convictions and/or charges out of different courts. State laws may restrict the reporting of arrest records, non-convictions and time periods for which records are reported. Standard search scope is 7 years; however a few states allow a 10 year scope.
• State Criminal Record Search - Individual  state  searches  of  Criminal  Records  from  a  database  of  records.  Because this is a database, no guarantee can be made that all felony and misdemeanor convictions are reported from every agency.   The instantaneous  search  returns  information  on  state  and  county  criminal  records,  sex  and  violent  offenders, OFAC, FBI terrorist and wanted fugitives list.  Report should not replace individual county searches.
• National Criminal Record Search - U.S. Criminal Records Indicator Search is a database search of records. Because this is a database, no guarantee can be made that all felony and misdemeanor convictions are reported from every agency.  The instantaneous search returns information on state and county criminal records, sex and violent offenders, OFAC, FBI Terrorist List, and Federal/State/Local wanted fugitives list.   Report should not replace individual county searches.  Search scope varies based on individual state allowances, spectrum runs minimum of 7 years, maximum of 10.
• Federal Criminal Record Search - This search is conducted by searching a subject's name in all available online Federal District Courts and may include charges such as bank robbery, embezzlement, tax evasion, mail fraud, crimes occurring across state lines or crimes occurring  on  Federal  property.   For common names, results will be returned in those jurisdictions associated with the subject’s Social Security Number search or Social Security Number Address Locator.  Fees are charged per state jurisdiction searched based on prior 7 year residency.  Not all Federal Districts are available online.
• Motor Vehicle Record - Commercial/Non-Commercial - The driving/motor vehicle record will verify the driver's license number,  state of issuance, and may provide information such as full name and physical description, as well recent moving traffic violations and accidents.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE & CLINICAL SERVICES   [Available upon request]

• 5 Panel Urine - A  “panel”  is  a  list  of  specific  drugs  tested  for.  The 5 Panel Urine includes the following: marijuana, amphetamines, cocaine, methadone and barbiturates.  In some states a MRO (Medical Review Officer) must review both positive and negative results; some states only require MRO on positive results and some states have no requirement. Collection locations are available nationwide and chain of custody (COC) options include online and paper; the client should specify during the set up process.
